June 2015 Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Box Review
Happy Petit Vour Unboxing Day! I’m stoked to reveal all the über fab goodies in this month’s Petit Vour vegan beauty box! If you’re new to Petit Vour, it’s a monthly subscription box that comes loaded with samples (including full-sized ones) from fancy, vegan and cruelty-free brands (peep all my previous PV box reviews here). This goodie box is only $15 a month (HELLA good deal, especially considering this month’s box is valued at ~$50!) and includes free shipping in the U.S. ($23 for Canada). Pretty sweet, right?
June’s “Bright Eyed & Fresh Faced” Petit Vour Beauty Box included:
Meow Meow Tweet Face Cleanser* – This super gentle, milky, cream cleanser smells fresh and earthy (totally up my alley). It’s essentially a nourishing oil cleanser (with sunflower, jojoba, and castor combined with witch hazel, castile soap, glycerin, and essential oils) that rinses off easily, leaving your skin refreshed without stripping any moisture. This works well for all skin types, bust especially combo and acne-prone. I’m totally diggin’ this cleanser – will most likely purchase the full-size when this one’s all done.
Jacq’s Organics Green Smoothie Scrub & Masque* – Ooh, this powdery blend of organic sea kelp, activated bamboo charcoal, rhassoul, bentonite clay, nuts, herbs and flowers (tamanu, ginger, rosemary, and peppermint) is W.O.W (smelly pretty, too). I’ve only used it once, and diggity dang, what a treat – my skin was like HELLO! I could feel it sucking the impurities out of mah face. It’s so easy to use: mix 1 1/2 teaspoons of the powder with warm water (I used jojoba oil) to form a creamy paste. Apply and leave on for 10-15 minutes, and rinse with warm water. **Note** PV subscribers either received this MMT item or their Spot Serum.
FiOR Minerals Eye Liner in Black Betty* – Ooh, this liner makes my heart pitter-patter for so many reasons:
- It’s creamy, moisturizing, and formulated for sensitive eyes (non-toxic and free of chemicals, dyes, andGMOs). YASSSSS!
- It’s all-natural with certified organic antioxidants and soothing ingredients.
- It’s perfect for creating an easy-peasy smudged or smoky eye look.
And I’m soooooo happy I received the black shade – I’m a wuss when it comes to experimenting with colored liners. I think a few different colors went out to subscribers (would love to know which one you got).
100% Pure Facial Cleansing Brush* – Eee, excited to add this bad boy to my collection of facial cleansing tools. Man, I haven’t used a washcloth on my face since like, 1742, and I am stoked! This facial cleansing brush is made with extremely soft and gentle, antibacterial synthetic fibers that “feel like a cloud against your skin.” It also feels like a lovely massage each time you wash your face. I love the wooden handle, too. I’m a pretty hardcore 100% Pure fan, so it’s no surprise I like this brush as much as I do.
* = PV beauty box faves… whoops, I guess they were all my faves this month! 😉
If you like what you see, you should consider hooking yourself up with a Petit Vour subscription! Also, you can buy products you love directly from PV’s online store (they offer free shipping + PV points for every purchase). Canadian and international peeps get a sweet deal on shipping, too! xx
Overall impression: This was one of my all-time fave PV boxes – insanely awesome products, all of which I’d def buy again, and such an insane value! And that liner, though… ♥ ♥ ♥
